Mr.
O. Arivazhagan, B.E (Honors), CEO ,IIPM, was
invited as a Chief Guest for Project Exhibition
”Project EXPO”
organized by Department of Electronics and Communication
Engineering
at
St. Peter’s Institute of Higher Education and Research
on 5th
April 2018.
He was invited to judge and evaluate around 20 projects based on
their Presentation, Technical Aspects and Hardware used.
He selected and awarded prizes to the projects, the first project dealt with Light Energy using LED bulbs where audio signals were transmitted which were captured by solar cells and reconverted to audio signals which then played the messages, this demo has lots or practical application including Public Address System in Universities, Colleges and in home Appliances.
The next project dealt with communicating with the accident victims who are paralyzed and unable to move their hands and legs through a surrogate thinker(nurse). A small working model of a patient moved its hands and legs based on the thinking of the nurse on behalf of the patient.
The final project was related to Precision Farming, monitoring water level in tanks & fields, controlling the start and stop of pumps according to the water level in field and tank using solar power.
Concluding at the valedictory event by giving the Special Address, he said that he was impressed by the quality of the projects. His feedback and speech was appreciated by the students & faculty.
